For the Raspberry Pi Pico you need headers to connect the Pico to a breadboard.
There are 40 pins on 1 strip, so you have enough for all regular connections to the Raspberry Pi Pico. To also use the Debug pins, you need 3 extra pins, so you need an extra strip.
