Do you suspect your Raspberry Pi is possible overheating, and do you want extra cooling for the Pi? First check whether you have the latest firmware of the Raspberry Pi. You can check this by running the following commands at the command prompt:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get full upgrade

Do you still have a heat problem after this? Then heatsinks are recommended. This set consists of 4 heatsinks, with the mounting tape already on it. As a result, no toxic paste is required, and installation is a piece of cake.

The following heatsinks are included in a package:

1x heat sink 14 x 14 x 7 mm for CPU
1x heat sink 10 x 15 x 5.0 mm for RAM chip
1x heat sink 8.8 x 8.8 x 5.0 mm for USB controller
1x heat sink 6 x 6 x 5.0 mm for Ethernet controller

See also the photos for the correct placement on the Raspberry Pi 4. Although black heatsinks are used in the photo, the placement remains the same.

The heatsinks can also be used for the Raspberry Pi 3, although you do not need all the heatsinks. There, only the processor and the USB hub need the cooling. If you need help with this, please let us know.

If it ever seems necessary to remove the heatsinks, do so in a circular motion.
